Mount Lassen National Park 28. The Park Hot Rock This giant rock floated down from the mountain during the big mud flow. It remained hot for a number of weeks and became known as "The Hot Rock." Naturally both boys had to climb up on the rock. We didn't need to encourage either boy to be active and explore. It just came naturally to them to be curious. They never learned to be bored. The cure for boredom is curiosity. There is no cure for curiosity. ⇦ Back to Page 27 On to Page 29 ⇨Hi-Res Pic (190K) Return to Mt. Lassen -- Page 4 |
