Mesa Verde NP, Colorado 14. Cliff Dwellings
The tree-ring specimens which yielded the dates of several of the park ruins
had been collected by the National Geographic Beam Expedition of 1923.
Presuming that the year of the cutting was the year of actual use in
construction, the following dates were established from selected beams in these
major cliff dwellings:
