6. Ant Hill

Ants proliferate in the Lassen area. Here we see a large ant hill. I staggers your imagination how many trips those ant took to remove that much soil for their home. Also imagine how extensive and big the tunnels might be below. Our boys took great interest in all animal, and insect activity and still do so today.
