Uncle Tom's Trail, Yellowstone National Park

4. Trail Sign

We camped at Yellowstone National Park and checked out things to see. We saw the geysers and visited the big lodge. We discovered the Uncle Tom's Trail and it looked like an interesting place to see and visit. Unfortunately the sign indicated the trail had been closed due to an avalanche. In 2005 we checked with the Rangers to see if the repairs had been made. They replied they had repaired and reopened the trail. When the Ranger viewed our pictures she remarked we were naughty to have gone on the trail.
