Himilayan Blackberry

Rubus discolor - Common, early summer, perennial, 3-9 ft. Sprawling to aching bramble, stems often reaching 30 ft. in length. Stems 5 angled, armed with many curved thorns with stout broad base., Leaves often more or less evergreen, divided palmately, 3-5 leaflets widest at the middle, sharply toothed, white on underside. Flowers numerous, clustered white or oink. Fruit shiny, black, with many small sections forming an oval to round berry. Invasive in disturbed moist areas along roads, ditches, and fences at low to mid elevations.
