Wildflowers Found in Oregon White Flowered Hawkweed Hieracium albiflorum - Common, all summer, Perennial, 1-3 ft. Erect with white milky sap, no stolons. Stem single, densely hairy on lower portion. Leaves mostly basal, oblong to lance-shaped, 3-7 in. long, toothed, covered with long coarse hairs; stem leaves few, smaller, alternate on lower stem, with bare stems above. Flower heads in open cymes, disk flowers 15-30, small, white, ray-like; no ray flowers. Grows in dry forests, shady openings in woods, in all elevations. Native.
