Wildflowers Found in Oregon Fluted White Helvella Helvella crispa - Whitish, saddle shaped cap with a fluted stalk. Cap: 5/8 - 2 3/8 in. wide, 3'8 - 1 5/8 in. high. Season: September to October in Northwest. Habitat: on the ground in both deciduous and coniferous forests, and open grassy or wooded areas.
