Western-trumpet Honeysuckle (Orange Honeysuckle)

Lonicera ciliosa - Climbing, widely branching, vine, sometimes reaching a height of 6 m; twigs hollow. Leaves opposite, deciduous, oval, 4-10 cm long, the end-pair on each twig joined to form a disk; with whitish bloom underneath and hairs along the margins. Flowers orange-yellow, occasionally becoming purplish on drying, 2-4 com long, narrowly trumpet-shaped, flaring to 5 lobes; in whorls above the disk-leaf at branch ends. Found in woods and thickets, from sea level to middle elevations.
