Mountain Monkeyflower
(Tiling's Monkeyflower)

Mimulus tilingii - Uncommon, all summer, perennial, 2-8 in. Small mat, not spreading by stolons, hairless. Leaves opposite, oval to round, stalkless but not clasping stem, shorter than flower stems. Flowers on single stems in leaf axils at top, about 1 in. long with unequal, deeply divided lobes, throat spotted with red. Grows in seeps, wet meadows, at mid to high elevations in mountains.
