Wildflowers Found in Oregon Bottle Moss Amphidium lapponicum - Plants olive-green to light green, dense, growing in cushions about 1-3 cm high, bisexual; stems with scattered, reddish, root-like filaments. Leaves 1.55-3.0 mm long; spreading and somewhat curved backward when moist, contorted when dry, linear to narrowly lance-shaped, sharp-pointed, often ending in a single, elliptic, cuticular papilae over both cell cavities and crosswalls.
