Cat-tail Moss

Isothecium myosuroides - Plants glossy and dingy green, varying from whitish-green to pale brownish-green; stems from long, narrowly tapered strands hanging from branches or form creeping, irregularly branched mats. By far the most common and most variable species of the coastal rain forests where it is "dirt common" from sea level to middle elevations.
