Wildflowers Found in Oregon
Wood Rush (Variegated Wood Rush, Great Wood Rush,
Luzula sylvatica - It is a hardy grass to 2 ft. Has loose flower clusters in the spring. We have three of these planted in the front yard. This picture was taken when they were planted in 2000. Now in 2001 they are about 2 feet high. They seem to take over on our front yard so they were moved out to our pasture and some in our planter boxes. In our pasture they have thrived and about 12 survive and expand in their area. On to Next Flower ⇨Hi-Res Pic (410K) |
