Spiraea douglasii - Common, all summer, perennial, 2-6 ft. Erect, thicket forming shrub with many shoots and branches. Leaves deciduous, alternating along branches, with short petioles, oval to oblong, dark green on top. Flowers many, pink to rose in pointed, erect cluster, much longer than broad.
