Leaves sessile; blade green with widely scattered mottling, mottling becoming obscure with age, ovate to broadly ovate. Flowers erect, spicy odor, of cloves; Sepals displayed above bracts, spreading, divergent, green, lanceolate. Petals are small linear-lanceolate.
