This is a close up of the view seen from the camera. What looks like smoke is steam coming from the Weyerhauser plywood plant in Springfield. The trees to the left are Douglas Firs, the predominate timber tree in the Pacific Northwest. The firs are on our land.This picture was taken in March 2007. The brown tree shown at the bottom of the picture are some Oregon Red Oak that are bare at this time of the year.
