We Start to Work in China

In 1984 we get invited to teach Oral English classes in China. We go off to China to teach and that will eventually result in living and working in China for some 12 years over a span of time from 1984 to 2014. We both love the experience. Here we teach a class to some 40 Chinese scientists at the Chinese Academy of Sciences in Chengdu, Sichuan China. Both Bernice and Paul teach classes. We eventually teach many hundreds of students in many cities in grades 1 through 12 as well as some of colleges and universities. Bernice loved it and the people. Many still refer to her as their American Mom. Some 20 or more now live and work in the United States.
