Limb

1. One of the larger branches of a tree. The limb broke and fell in the wind storm.
2. One of the jointed appendages of an animal, such as an arm, leg or a wing, or a flipper used for locomotion or grasping. He suffered two broken limbs falling from the tree, a leg and an arm.
