1. The joint connecting the arm with the torso. His shoulder was still sore from the injury.
2. The part of the human body between the neck and upper arm. He had a tattoo on his shoulder.
3. The edge or border running on either side of a roadway. Pull you car onto the shoulder if you have to stop.
