Christian Church - Xiamen, Fujian

1. Junior Choir - 1994-5

This is the Chinese Christian Church we attended in Xiamen, Fujian Province. It is on an Island in the harbor of Xiamen. To get there we travel down 8 flights of stairs, walk a half mile to the bus stop, ride for 30 minutes to the ferry terminal, catch a ferry to the island, then walk a mile uphill to the Church. And this was when Paul's hip was so bad he had to use a cane. One of the students stayed with Paul and the others went with Bernice. Paul had to rest a few times on the way. The Church reserved a front row bench for us each Sunday. Each Sunday about 4-5 students from Lujiang University where we taught went with us to translate the sermon.
