22. Haul Sun Dried Bricks to Kiln

That momentous time in a brick's life when it is tested by fire has arrived. This man with a handcart is taking a load of dried bricks off to the kiln. Why does he have to drag them by hand and the others get to use a motorized cart? Well, for two reasons, first it is down hill to the kiln, and second he has to enter the kiln and deliver them to the tight interior where there is little room to maneuver. The kiln is in a low area to reduce the wind cooling the kiln any more than can be helped.
