Chinese Construction - Methods and Materials 23. Inside Brick Kiln Here the dried bricks are taken off the handcart and carefully stacked ready to be fired. It is warm in here, dusty, and very dark. It was somewhat difficult to photograph. The chamber was rounded, about 9 feet high, bricked on the sides and about 60 feet long.
