8. Eating Out in China A Typical Chinese Kitchen We have been invited to some student's apartment for a jiaozi party. About 15 students are there and all are involved in preparing and cooking the jiaozi. Jiaozi (pronounced Jow za) are like Italian ravioli filled with pork and cabbage. We have been to many, many jiaozi parties. It is easy and a big favorite with all Chinese. We sometimes fix jiaozi at our home in the USA. This is a typical Chinese kitchen in Chinese apartments.
