14. A View of the Number One Beach

This is a picture from the hotel we stayed at in Qingdao. It is opposite of Number One Beach. It reminds me of Coney Island Beach in New York. The shoreline is quite shallow so you can see people walking out quite far. We were the only foreigners here and caused quite a stir. They seemed to be surprised at the amount of hair on Paul. Some people referred to Paul as a "Bear." We enjoyed our afternoon at the beach swimming.
