Traveling by Air in China

3. China Eastern from LA

In 2002 we left for China from Los Angeles on China Eastern. When we went in 2004 we traveled on China Air from San Francisco. Not much to choose from. Both have the same crowded seats in tourist class and terrible but free movies. Food offered is either Chinese or Western. Food is OK but not spectacular. On a plane completely packed with Americans and returning Chinese we could see a movie in French with Italian subtitles. Hard to understand that logic.
