Lujiang University Student Scenes

Esther Qiu

This is Esther Qiu. She was one of our outstanding students at Lujiang University in Xiamen when we taught there in 1994-1995. She spent many evenings with us then to practice her English. Her oral English is very good and she has an excellent vocabulary. She and her father took us out to dinner in Xiamen during our Spring Festival vacation. We ate a fabulous Mexican dinner at the 5-star Marco Polo Hotel. She went to church to translate for Paul in 1994-5 when we went to church in Xiamen. She was baptized this year and loves the Lord. She is a good friend and a fine ambitious young lady. She studies now in Australia for an advanced degree.
