Train from Beijing Station to Nanjing - 2008

Escalators - 9

The dinner people united with us and we traveled up the escalators to the second floor to retrieve our luggage. We then had to muscle our way through the mass of people in the main waiting room. From their we had to carry-wheel our luggage up some stairs, walk about a 100 yards across a catwalk and then down 3 flights of stairs to the train platform. Fortunately some kind Chinese people helped us with out luggage. From there we had to walk another hundred yards to our train car and muscle our luggage to our train compartment alcove and our beds.
