31. Class C in Our Apartment

We encourage the students to visit us in our apartment in the evening. It gets us a chance to know the students better and they get a chance to practice their English. The man in the corner is the class leader. His name is Wu Qin Nan with the English name of Kirt Wu. He was a very interesting man. He was the Director and Senior Engineer for the Jianchuan Compressor Factory. When we went back to visit Chengdu in 1995 he met us and took us on a three day vacation trip. He was quitting his job to write books. He was a good friend to both of us.
