Down this road is Seoul, the capital of South Korea. We are now camped out in some small buildings. The marines are engaged in a fight for the city of Seoul. Our communications skills are not needed and we are just marking time. Kimpo airfield is on the way to Seoul and has been taken. When word comes that Seoul has been taken we pack up and travel off to the city. We are assigned to live in an abandoned office building. It has no windows and no water but it is better than tents. A destroyed Russian T-34 tank sits along side of the road.
