"Piggy San" Radio Relay Station
Harry Shively 8. Signalman Grimsley at "Piggy San" Relay Due to the oppressive heat we seldom wore a helmet unless ordered to do so. The danger we faced was slight and a helmet is not the most comfortable headgear. During the summer a fatigue cap was the preferred cover, and during the winter a pile cap was the way to go. For those who don't know, in Korea, the winter weather is way below zero and the summer is above 110 degrees with lots of bugs.
