A mutual friend told me that he had died quite some years past. Although I had not seen him since Korea, it still hurt because in my mind the picture is of a young man. Many of these young men gave years of their lives to the cause of freedom. The power units were vital to the operation of the station. Maintaining them is one of those unseen jobs that are vital to the war effort.
