This picture was taken of the front side of the relay site. Dick Hays and myself were on a hike that wound up on a lower hill a little further out than we had intended. The trail down was single file and covered with snow. It was the only access on this side of the mountain. It was located somewhere near the ridge on the left side of the picture. We had to return the same way because of trip flares and possible mines that ringed the relay site. Walking didn't seem to be the problem then as it is today.
