Antennas and cables require regular maintenance. Rain, snow, and wind took their toll as the mountaintops caught the worst of this kind of weather. Cables could not lay on the ground and were supported by short post and spacer bars approximately two feet from the ground. The cables are coax type and are matched by impedance to the Yogi antennas. It is almost a rule that repairs always need to be made during the worst weather.
