Fortunately on top of the hill things were very loose and we could wear cooler clothing when we were working and the station was plugging along without preventable outages. This is a shirt I had made in town by a tailor. It is bright pink silk. He made a few of them for me. I also by now have a German Mauser Machine pistol. It was one made for the Chinese and is full automatic. It uses Chinese ammunition 29 caliber bullets that are available from ordinance. I also have a Chinese burp gun. It is called a burp gun because that is how it sounds when fired. It looks similar to an old submachine gun used by the old crooks in the thirties such as "Machine Gun Kelly." It is a pain to load so when I wanted to shoot it I would have one of the Korean lads who worked for us, load the burp gun. We also had a quad 50 machine gun. It is for antiaircraft protection. It is four 50-caliber guns mounted so they fire all at once. Too much noise and I think it was just for show. A Korean shop built a leather holster for my pistol.
