31A. My Truck Gets Stuck in the River

Here is another picture of the swollen river. I am standing on the hood. The poor fellow in back is probably wondering what is happening. We did get it out. I remember another occasion when I came to a river where the bridge has been bombed and not yet replaced. There was an army unit that assisted you to get across. They did some taping to your truck and then with an amphibious DUCK they towed your truck under the water across the river. They then drained your gas and oil replaced it and on your way you went. The passengers and driver rode in the DUCK and stayed dry. Another funny incident with my truck occurred when I was passing through the Supreme Commander's Headquarters.

There was a sign saying the speed limit was 3 miles an hour. I got a ticket from an MP for going 6 miles an hour at least that was what the ticket said. He was on foot and said if he had to run to catch me I was speeding. We just threw away the ticket. How could they find me and what could they do?
