The company unit in charge of power connected the van up to the generators. A cable was connected between the microwave van, the VHF truck with control command and on to patching facilities. The parabolic mess antenna for the microwave was mounted and the power pole tower was raised. I believe the system shot to Highpoint Site or another mobile van set up on the site which then tied the signals together for long haul communications anywhere in country or around the globe.
