Swallow Nests

Bird Nests at Our Pleasant Hill, Oregon Home

8. Swallow Nests

We have about five of these Swallow Nests on trees at our home. Make sure they are facing away from the prevailing weather. The size of the holes and height above ground is important. During the spring and summer a number of swallows fly all around our house eating bugs. At night a squadron of bats take over. A landing peg makes it easy for other birds to pester nest. Omit any landing pegs
