Tricolored Blackbird Agelaius tricolor -- Common in flocks in cattails or tulles. Male is told from Red-winged by the darker red of the shoulders and the white border; female by the solid dark belly, and lower back. Song, quite different from Red-winged's, is harsh and unmusical. |
