Lincoln's Sparrow Melospiza lincolnii - Fairly common in thickets along bogs and streams; uncommon in East. In migration and winter it prefers brush piles and wood margins. Note the fine neat streakings on the buffy breast band and the semblance of a tiny eye ring. Secretive. Seldom sings in winter or migration.
