4. Into the Oven

We put our potatoes in a casserole dish. You could as well use a cookie tray. You could also have just laid them on the rack with a cookie tray underneath to catch any drippings. When you take them out you can test by passing a long toothpick through the potato to test if it is cooked enough. Set them aside to cool a bit on a rack. They will be quite hot to the touch.
