Canning Apricot Nectar
Heat Jars While Bernice washes the apricots Paul puts the jars we will use inverted in a shallow pan with an inch of water. He will turn on the heat in a moderate temperature so the water will gently boil. This sterilizes and heats the jar. You should not put hot nectar in a cold jar. We put out more jars than we expect. We will put our nectar in quart jars and we add one pint in case we have some at the end but not enough for a full pint. You may have to tip the jars from time to time in case the water in all drawn up into the jars. ⇦ Back to - Step 2 On to - Step 4 ⇨Return to Apricot Nectar - Page 1 |
