Wire Basket for Dipping Peaches in Hot Water, Tool 1

We use this wire basket to dip the peaches in the hot water to help the slipping off the skins. We use a watch with a second hand to time the stay in the hot water. We do a few peaches first and have Bernice test to see if the skins slip off easily. If you have them in the water too long they will over cook and be quite fuzzy. If you have them in the water too short a time it will make the skins hard to slip. We adjust the time according to Bernice's needs and the ripeness of the peaches.
