Chinese Cooking
Add Noodles to Boiling Water The guests have arrived and the first courses have been prepared and eaten and it's time for the noodle dish to be fixed. Here Bernice measured out what amount she feels is needed. We always make more than enough so we can have some the next day for ourselves. In China it is very bad form if you finish all of any dish. That implies that the host didn't have enough of the dish their guests liked the most. In China you must leave some to indicate that the host had enough of that dish. We, however, explain to that in America we are pleased if they eat it all. But we always fix more than they can eat anyway. The noodles are good cold the next day. ⇦ Back to Step 9 On to Step 11 ⇨Return to Noodles Thumbs - Page 2 |
