Chinese Cleaver

We received this cleaver as a gift from a friend in China. One of the essential points the cleaver needs to have in the rounded aspect to the blade. It will be rolled back and forth to finely chop garlic or ginger. In this country units like this would often come in stainless steel. We clean ours quickly after use and keep it stored lightly oiled in a cardboard sheath to protect blade edge.
