Chinese Bamboo Food Steamer

These bamboo steamers we had made for us in China. We wanted to have some smaller that the ones for sale in China. A Chinese man made them especially for us. We use them for steamed buns and biaozi. They nest and we place them over a pot that has boiling water so the steam will cook the food placed within them. The food is then served in the individual steamers placed on the eating table. Your guests would then pick out their desired portions. You would use as many individual nested steamers needed depending on how many you wished to cook and serve.
