Crank up the Sifter

Next Bernice cranks up the sifter to fill the measuring cup. When filled to the proper level she puts the measured flour into a bowl. We had to fill the sifter several times to get our double recipe amount of flour. After completing the measuring we stir up the flour to ensure that the flour with the spices gets somewhat mixed with the flour without the spices.
