Arrange the Pineapple

Next Bernice arranges the pineapple in a decorative fashion on top of the butter/brown sugar. She used a can of slices and then some chunks to fill in the open spaces. Drain the juice first but make sure you save some juice (3/4 cup) for use in the cake batter. You can drink the rest. Using a second can of chunks is optional. If you are so inclined you can put a maraschino cherry in the center of each pineapple ring.
