Sift the Flour

Next we sift the flour. Using our old sifter we fill it with flour and add the salt and baking soda in the sifter. We sift into a 4-cup measuring dish. Note our old 1 gallon canning jar. Bernice's Mom used to use them for canning for the farm crew many years ago. It makes a good container for our flour.
