Step Six, Roll out Dough

Lightly dust the board with flour, place the dough on the dusted board. Lightly dust the dough with flour. Roll out from center outward changing direction each time. Roll out dough to about 1/2 to 3/4 inch thick. Thinner will make crisper scones and thicker will make the scones less crispier. Your choice.
