34. Our Sheep Pastures

Here you can see a managed pastures that we utilized for our sheep. We had sheep to keep the grass and brush down low for fire protection. But you don't want erosion, or a field of mud and you do want some feed for the animals. Notice how green our fields look and not how the fields used by the neighbor's horses look. Also our pasture has been fenced into three fields so one can be used while the others can recover. Notice how much the trees have grown in the time we lived there.
