Myra Lee Crawford Life
23. We now live in Eatonville, WA
At the end of summer we move off of the lake into town. Housing is somewhat scarce. We rent a house with no indoor toilet. We three kids had fun at nearby rock quarry. We play on the local log pound riding logs. Our parents would have died knowing we were in such dangerous play times. Crawford gets a job cleaning at a bank. Each evening he and I would go to the bank and sweep and clean. We had our own key to the bank. Donald delivered the Seattle Newspaper and I worked for a local department store. We boys are about 11, 12 1nd 13. This house was a little way out of the city. A short time later we move into the middle of town in an apartment above a car repair garage.
